“I have a lot of thoughts in my imagination which I can express through my music. Maybe that is the best what I can do for this world. At the moment the situation in general but especialy for musicians is very hard in Ukraine. It’s a big problem to show and compose new music ‘cause often people are not very open minded for something new extraordinary.”

Außergewöhnlich ist die Musik von JULINOZA in vielerlei Hinsicht, vermischen sich in ihr Jazz, Pop und World-Musik zu einem ganz eigenen Klangerlebnis. Dabei singt die junge Ukrainerin aus der Hafenstadt Odessa – ganz Kosmopolitin – auf Englisch, Ukrainisch und Russisch. Sie vermischt und reflektiert wie selbstverständlich unterschiedliche musikalisch Stile und kombiniert Individualität und klare strahlende Melodien mit gewagten Innovationen aus der Avantgarde und nutzt außerdem die farbenfrohe Freiheit des Indie-Jazz.
Sie selbst sagt: „Looking for answers and encountering doubts I dive into the depth of human consciousness and share her findings via outstanding and peculiar musical combinations. The musical fabric of my work consists of invisible lines and shades of feelings, waves of emotions ranging from delicate tenderness to piercing macrobiotic avalanche. The true creativity continues to conduct our imagination.“
